Sales Operations and Commercial Manager - Limerickl
Working within a leading sporting industry based in Limerick who are looking to recruit a Sales Operations and Commercial Manager who will have the responsibility of the promotion, regulation and ongoing development of the facility. This facility has been recently upgraded in terms of bar and restaurant facilities for patrons and is a very well recognised as a premier and high quality sporting and entertainment venue for Limerick city and it environs.
We now wish to recruit a Sales Operations and Commercial Manager
This is an important leadership role that reports to the CEO of a sporting Industry in Ireland.
The successful candidate will be in charge of the day to day operations, event management, benefit night promotion, marketing and promotion and the overall commercial success of the facility.
This is to ensure that events are well attended, restaurant and bar facilities have high booking levels and betting is well promoted so as to achieve continued improvement in operational performance. A full stadium team of both full-time and part-time staff report to the role. The successful candidate will ideally have the following experience:
• Excellent people management, communication and inter-personal skills
• Significant Marketing and sales capability
• Have demonstrated ability to grow business turnover
• A strong customer service and business networking orientation
• Ideally have significant experience in the marketing and promotion of leisure-time products
• High commercial acumen and cost centre budget management skills
• Significant commercial, management, operations and sales experience
• Flexibility, imagination and the ability to innovate
• Good information technology, and report writing skills
• Demonstrated ability to take on organizational wide projects aimed at improving operational effectiveness.
