Welder Fabricator Structural Steel
Location: Birtley
Pay: £16.50 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, 38 hours per week
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join a busy team in Birtley. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fabricator with a strong background in structural steel and experience working to industry standards.
The Role
You will be responsible for fabricating and welding structural steelwork, working from engineering drawings and ensuring all work is completed to the required quality and safety standards.
The Ideal Candidate

Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator, preferably within structural steel
*
Strong MIG/MAG welding and fabrication skills
*
Experience working to BS EN 1090 standards
*
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
*
Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
*
Able to work independently and as part of a team
*
Reliable and safety-conscious
Desirable Qualifications
*
FLT licence advantageous
*
Overhead crane certification advantageous
