CNC Machinist – Braintree – Up to £39,500 – 25 days holiday
We’re seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join a precision engineering company in Braintree. If you have experience with Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes, strong problem-solving skills, and a background in machining, this is the perfect opportunity.
The Role:
Setting, operating, and programming Citizen Sliding Head Lathes (Fanuc controls)
Selecting tools and adjusting programs to produce high-quality components
Conducting first-off approvals, in-process quality checks, and completing QA records
Following engineering drawings, work instructions, and H&S procedures
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in CNC setting, programming & problem-solving
Ability to read & interpret detailed engineering drawings
Familiarity with Fanuc or Siemens CNC programming (training provided)
Self-sufficient in quality control & first-off approvals
Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred
