Nurse Seekers are proud to be recruiting a Community Care Worker on behalf of an independent Homecare Provider based in Windsor who specialise in providing exceptional quality care and support to clients in their own homes.
Our client operates a unique service which means their clients can remain independent, safe and happy in their own homes. They offer a tailored service which is totally bespoke to each individual and 100% matched to their needs.
The client is currently looking for a community care worker to add to their already established and well experienced team.
You will be providing exceptional quality care to private clients in their own homes whilst promoting the clients right, choice, independence, individuality, privacy and dignity.
The main duties include but are not limited to:
To provide quality care to clients as outlined in the client person-centred Care Plan. Daily tasks could include:
Assistance with washing & dressing
Shopping & meal preparation
Helping clients access community services
To monitor and report changes in client’s condition.
To keep clear, up to date, and accurate records, reporting any changes in a timely manner.
Desired Skills & Experience
You will preferably have 2+ years experience gained in a caring environment. We will consider applications from people with no experience in care as full training is provided.
Experience of people living with dementia is an advantage
Excellent communication skills with an empathetic and caring attitude with the ability to maintain client confidentiality.
Full UK driving licence, full access to own car and Business Insurance.
Experience and qualifications for Senior positions can be discussed in more detail on a candidate by candidate basis.
Generous mileage allowance
Paid travelling time (same hourly rate) in between calls
Holidays – 28 days (full time)
