In this role, youll take the lead in designing advanced control panels and systems that power our industry-leading machines, working with servo and inverter drives, sophisticated motion control, safety systems, and high-precision measurement technologies. Its a chance to push the boundaries of automation and innovation in a company thats shaping the future of tube bending technology.
The position is based at our manufacturing facility in Scarborough. This is a full-time salary-based role. We offer a 39-hour week 7.45am 4:45pm Monday to Thursday, with an early finish at 1pm Friday.
Responsibilities
* Ensure conformance with customer specification.
* Ensure conformance with machinery directive legislation.
* Create parts lists (BOMs)
* Create electrical schematics and manufacturing drawing packs.
* Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure efficient working methods.
* Provide commissioning and fault-finding guidance to service teams.
* Provide remote customer support.
Qualifications / Experience
* Minimum level 3 qualification in related discipline or HNC.
* At least 3 years experience in a similar role.
* 3 phase power circuits.
* 24Vdc control circuits.
* Machine safety systems.
* Servo motion & PLC programming experience would be an advantage.
Hours: 39 hours
Salary: Best rates of pay for the right individual.
Holidays: 32 days a year inclusive of public / bank holidays
