The Head of Sales will be responsible for building on the excellent track record of Access-IS in the surface transport market, leading a team to drive sales globally, building on strong industry collaboration and end user engagement and to build the profile of HID in the sector.

Do you have extensive experience in the public transit space and experience in partnership working with other suppliers, with a good network and knowledge of the sector, a successful track record from public sector bidding processes and the ability to influence a range of senior stakeholders who are themselves industry leaders.

The Position:

The Head of Sales will have a strong, resume-qualified background in leading and growing a multinational sales team and in growing market share, shaping go to market strategy, identifying, nurturing, developing and closing new accounts with a focus on public sector, including transit and transportation solutions, and commercial markets.

The desired candidate will have extensive experience developing business plans, influencing end users to create opportunities and exceeding sales targets through pipeline growth via end-user engagement, strategic relationships with partners and channel development.

As our Head of Sales , you’ll support HID’s success in the following ways :

* Work with management team to develop effective go-to-market strategy and channel programs to drive growth.

* Extensive customer interaction with key influencers to drive growth, loyalty and competitive displacement

* Meet or exceed sales forecasts and effectively manage the sales cycle, including building an effective sales pipeline and channel assuming responsibility for yearly, quarterly and monthly sales projections and revenue results.

* Identify, recruit and manage an ecosystem of partners, including software providers and systems integrators

* Personally sell solutions into strategic accounts or partners.

* Develop and foster relationships with end-user accounts.

* Lead and develop team, ensuring regular and accurate sales activity and account updates to management through direct reporting and CRM (e.g. Salesforce)

* Collaborate with marketing communications team to develop awareness and lead generation campaigns and provide support to their execution.

* Provide market intelligence and feedback. Keep abreast of any new developments or competitive information that may enhance or threaten growth initiatives for HID Extended Access Technologies.

* Influence, manage and drive accountability of people without having direct authority over them. Take a “hands-on” approach and assist the sales team in closing deals.

* Motivate and maintain a high morale performance-driven culture.

* Ability in additional languages a strong plus.

* Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

* Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.

* Familiar CRM tools and analysis such as Salesforce

Education and/or Experience

* B.Sc. or B.A. degree in a business or technical field.

* 10-15+ years of demonstrated relevant experience in sales with a proven record of accomplishment in achieving multi-million dollar revenue targets and strategic growth goals.

* Well-rounded sales leadership experience with proven ability to develop and grow new markets, influence markets, bid, negotiate and close deals with end users and with partners with a strong historical achievement against quota.

* Strong account management and ability to become a trusted advisor to customers

* Minimum 8 years’ experience in public transit, preferably in smart ticketing

* Minimum 8 years experience selling technology solutions and products, preferably in barcode, RFID or the payment space

* Significant experience in managing multinational team to drive global results.
