Key Account Manager – Automotive Aftermarket
An exciting opportunity for a Key Account Manager / Sales Manager with automotive aftermarket experience to join a leading European parts wholesaler to increase their business in the passenger car market in the UK.
We are interested to speak to candidates with a deep knowledge and understanding of UK parts distributors and buying groups, experience of operating at this level is essential.
Our client, a large European parts wholesaler, is looking to establish themselves as a go-to supplier for passenger car parts in the UK market following on from their success in the commercial vehicle market. They can offer an unprecedented range of automotive brands plus private label products coupled with an excellent distribution network.
This role will cover key accounts in the South of England.
Ideal location – Peterborough, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Cambridge, Oxford, Swindon, Reading, London
OTE £60k (Basic £40-50k + Bonus) + car allowance + pension
A strong automotive aftermarket pedigree is essential for this role with current or previous experience and relationships with buying groups, distributors and motor factors.
Proven success in a Sales Manager / Key Account Manager role encompassing new business.
A strong negotiator with the ability to influence at senior levels within a business.
First class presentation and communication skills are a must for this role. The Role
Utilise your automotive aftermarket to knowledge to identify, approach and bring on board new buying group and distributor business.
Build lasting, successful relationships with customer head office and also individual branches to encourage sales.
Demonstrate the dedicated online portal which allows customers to view and purchase products through to receiving and actioning invoices.
Achieve sales and profit targets for key accounts through strong account management and regular customer reviews. Apply in Confidence
