My role is to work with the school and our staff members to ensure a smooth transition into the setting.
Your role is motivate, inspire and use topical and relevant information to develop children academically and to assist them to become successful lifelong learners. The school is looking for someone that shares their ethos! This means that you will be someone who is passionate and have a love of working with children and the ability to inspire learning and support development.
The successful candidate will be required to set up learning areas, lead intervention groups and support children with learning needs as well as occasionally being responsible for the whole class, working in partnership with class teachers and other teaching assistants.
The ideal candidate will have:
previous experience working with children
good subject knowledge in reading, writing and maths to assist the children in their daily tasks
a good standard of education together with good numeracy and literacy skills. With English and Maths GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent).
excellent interpersonal skills and a be good team player
good communication skills
flexibility and able to adapt quickly

To be considered for Teaching Assistant (TA) positions, you must:
Minimum of Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject or significant experience with children
Have experience supporting children within Reception and KS1 with children of all abilities (desirable)
Be able to adapt to different routines daily.
Have experience of the national curriculum and phonics.
Be flexible and creative when supporting teaching.
Be able to work between the hours of 8:30 until 15:30 Mon-Fri
