Part 1 Architectural Assistant 2 Month Contract

Aztrum are proud to be working with an established architectural practice based in Birmingham who are looking to appoint a Part 1 Architectural Assistant on an initial 2-month contract.
The initial role will focus on site-based observation studies, giving the successful candidate valuable on-site experience and a strong understanding of construction processes.
Following the initial 2 months, there is potential for the position to become permanent, with the successful candidate transitioning into a traditional architectural role and gaining broader exposure across the practice.
Key Responsibilities for this Part 1 Architectural Assistant role:
Carry out observation studies and site-based assessments
Attend project sites and record observations accurately
Assist with documenting site progress and project information
Develop an understanding of construction processes and site activities
Work alongside the wider architectural team and support project requirements
Following the initial contract, contribute to traditional architectural projects across multiple RIBA stages
Key Requirements for this Part 1 Architectural Assistant role:
Part 1 qualified Architectural Assistant
Previous experience within a UK architectural practice desirable
Strong interest in traditional architecture and design
Good understanding of architectural principles and construction processes
Strong observational and analytical skills
Good communication and organisational abilities
Ability to work confidently on site and as part of a wider team
