The Project Design Manager is responsible for leading on the design and installation of niche construction projects within health care environments.

Our client specialises in the installation of sterile working environments within the health care sector.

Description

You will work closely with your health care based clients to understand their requirements relating to sterile environments and provide expert technical advice to both design and deliver on their projects.

You will act as the point of contact for both your client and your delivery team and will liaise with all parties throughout the lifespan of the project to ensure that it’s delivered on time, on budget and to spec.

At any given time you will be running multiple projects across multiple sites so it’s imperative that you are running a slick operation and have the necessary systems in place in order for you to be able to manage the projects remotely whilst visiting site periodically to meet with your key stakeholders to review and monitor the progress of the projects.

Profile

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience of designing and delivering technical projects. The ideal sector for this to have been gained in would be health care but our client is open to other sectors across engineering, manufacturing and property services.

It is anticipated that suitable applicants will hold a technical based degree such as Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a degree in a closely related engineering field.

The role is across a large geographical region covering the entire England region south of Birmingham so applicants must have a full UK driving license and be able to travel across this region several days a week. A company car will be provided to the successful candidate.

Applicants would ideally be based in Birmingham or within an hour south of Birmingham in order to be well located for travel across the roles region.

Job Offer

A salary of £50,000 – £55,000 plus company car, fuel card and pension is on offer to the successful candidate.

There is also a very lucrative and market leading bonus scheme with this role which will see the post holder receive a substantial annual bonus if their individual targets are met.
