We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to work on a construction project in Knottingley.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day engineering requirements on site, working alongside the Site Manager and wider project team.
Site Engineer duties will include:
Setting out and surveying works on site
Checking line, level and dimensions
Working from construction drawings and specifications
Carrying out quality checks and maintaining accurate site records
Completing as-built surveys and associated documentation
Liaising with Site Managers, subcontractors and other engineers
Identifying and resolving technical issues on site
Ensuring works are completed safely and in accordance with specifications
Site Engineer requirements:
Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on UK construction projects
Strong setting-out experience
Experience using total station/GPS surveying equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Good understanding of construction site health and safety
Relevant engineering qualification or demonstrable industry experience
Valid CSCS card
