Supply Chain Manager
We have been instructed to find a Supply Chain Manager for SAICA Paper, the Supply Chain Manager will be based at PM11 in Carrington.
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing Customer service, Logistics and production planning.  This is a new role created through a restructure of supply chain, logistics and production planning in order to create a more efficient and customer focused department.
The Supply Chain Manager will have 3 direct reports and a wider team of 10 indirect and will manage the UK and Ireland market in terms of customer supply  
Lead the department in terms of Health and safety and set the standards expected of you and your Team.
Coordinate and plan supply operations for the customers in the UK & Ireland markets.
Achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction making all interactions simpler, more agile and efficient.
Maximize operational efficiency developing new supply strategies though agility, reactivity and high service levels.
Lead and give support to customer service, logistics services, production planning and inventories functions
Serve and manage internal customers and shareholders with the highest service and efficiency (commercial, sales, production and fibre sourcing).
Manage the Supply chain market office in a way that ensures service and efficiency targets are met.
Manage production planning and programming for PM11 and inventory levels in the supply network.
Promote and propose continuous improvements activities in coordination with SC/HQ.
Take part of the SC board to establish and develop the master plans to meet company’s strategic goals We are looking for someone with extensive supply chain management experience who can lead a multifunctional team and deliver a positive customer experience You must be able to influence production planning to drive efficient operations in conjunction with the paper sales function. Experience with FMCG or packaging would be attractive.
