Looking for a full-time Support Worker role in childrens residential care?
We are currently hiring experienced Level 3 Residential Support Workers for permanent positions in the Ascot area.
You will be working within childrens residential homes, supporting young people with day-to-day care, routines and emotional support.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to children and young people
Support routines, activities and daily structure
Build positive and respectful relationships
Assist with personal care where required
Follow care plans, behaviour plans and risk assessments
Ensure safeguarding and safety at all times
Administer medication and first aid where required
Maintain accurate records including daily logs and reports
Support the home environment with general household tasks
Work as part of a team within the residential setting
Requirements
Experience as a Support Worker, Residential Support Worker or Care Assistant
Experience within childrens residential care / childrens homes
Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People (or equivalent) essential
Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality
Calm, patient and reliable approach
Able to work full-time shifts including days, nights and sleep-ins
Driving licence preferred
Enhanced DBS required (including overseas police clearance where applicable)
Right to work in the UK without sponsorship
