Technical Sales Engineer – Full Time – Weybridge


This is a technical product sale either direct or through distribution and an engineering or similar background would be ideal although full training will be given to a candidate with strong sales skills and a technical aptitude.

You will join a hardworking Sales Team responsible for managing and maximising business from existing customers and distributors, driving business growth through new distributors, winning new customers and direct sales, and investigating new possibilities.

This role is predominately office based Monday to Friday and will involve some travel to attend trade shows and to visit clients. Typical applications for this range include medical and industrial.

Previous sales experience with an energy and enthusiasm to make things happen is essential. Tenacity, highly motivated and confidence are key personal attributes along with a customer focused attitude and affable personality is essential. You should also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

The ability to grasp the complexities of technical products and align these to customer requirements in the retail and trade markets will go a long way to ensuring your success in this role.

The role requires you to manage your own day and book and attend your own appointments. You will work to ensure turnover and profit growth targets are met, maintain continual market awareness and attend exhibitions.

£45K basic with Commission. OTE around £55K
