Temporary Works Supervisor – Full Time – Bacton, Norfolk

Role Overview
* Manage temporary works on live gas and asset health upgrade sites.
* Ensure full compliance with BS 5975 standards.
* Coordinate with the Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC).
* Inspect and sign off temporary works before use.
Key Responsibilities
* Check design briefs and risk assessments.
* Issue permits for excavation, shoring, and crane lifts.
* Brief site teams on temporary works procedures.
* Stop unsafe work immediately if risks arise.
* Maintain the site temporary works register.
Requirements
* Valid SMSTS or SSSTS card.
* CITB Temporary Works Supervisor course certificate.
* Experience in gas networks, utilities, or heavy civils.
* Strong knowledge of soil stability, trench support, and scaffolding.
